You're probably best using MetaTrader4 with Easy-Forex. That's what all the EA's are coded to work with anyways.

You do need to be VERY vigilent when entering the Forex market... because you just don't know what you're going to come up against. Most of it still is unregulated.

Do Forex Robots, such as FAP Turbo, actually work?

I've seen people on here who are promoting this software, but they don't actually say how much profit they are making. They don't include personal experiences with this software either. Please do so in your answer.

If this robot is not as good as another, please enlighten me.

Having said that, I have used on my live account FAP Turbo and Forex Megadriod. Things were going well for me with FAP Turbo the first two months and then two bad trades placed my account deep into negative territory that I was never able to recover. Forex Megadriod does not trade as often however, the EA is a lot more stable and consistent with returns. I have used a lot of EA's and even had a custom EA that cost quite a bit to program but so far, Megadriod is top dog. Read the reviews and look at the account on Pipcop. Many forex "review" sites are affiliate marketers just looking to earn a quick buck from affiliate sales and you have to watch out from them (hem, hem, above answers)

I see a lot of affiliate links for the still hyped FAP Turbo. I used FT and all was going well the first two months and then two bad trades killed my account. Be careful with any EA. Another thing that will make or break an account is the broker you choose. Do you homework first before you jump in with both feet or you will lose you hard earned cash. Good luck!

Do forex robots really work has anyone tried one?

Do yourself a favor and ignore any answer that includes a link to any forex site.

Forex robots, Iraqi dinar, and penny stocks are the most frequent scams on Yahoo Answers.

If anyone had a robot (or system, or EA) that produced reliable profits, they would use it to trade themselves wealthy. They would not give it away. They would not sell it and arbitrage away their own profits. The concept is ridiculous.

Testimonials and internet reviews can be fake. Past track records can be fabricated.

I would like to trade forex but I am scared to do it myself because it is too complicated. I have been going through forex robots, there are so many out there and it is hard to choose the one that really works.

I'm not going to lie to you when I say that most "forex robots" are actually scams.

Because people know we are a "hungry crowd", they figure that they can easily make a quick buck byselling products that don't actually work...

So I was very pleased to find http://www.fxsystemscompared.com which reviews only LEGITIMATE forex robots.

Do Trading Forex Algorithms Actually Work?

I'm not sure what you actually call these automated trading system, but i'm guessing they use some kind of algorithm software to sought through markets etc.

My question is really this. I've been trading Forex for 5 months now - mainly jpy/gbp market - and it's about time that I got my hands on some automated software - but which one.

I like the look of the PipBoxer - but a bit too pricey, but maybe doable. Otherwise Forex EA looks pretty sweet at $200. The alternatives I've seen are like those spammy sites like the forex killer, which supposedly get you pips while you sleep. Not convinced.

Anyway, has anyone used any of these or recommend a decent package which has genuinely helped there overall forex trading profit,

Most of what is mentioned is basically spot on. If your new to Forex, only 5 months in like you said then automated trading may only work for you if your already having success. If your using it as a means of income then this is not the idea.

You mentioned the PipBoxer. The Pipbover is by far the most comprehensive software out there as it's more than just a software package as it comes with real people at hand 24/7. It's worth the cash and if you've done your research you'll have discovered this.
